About Alicia

Alicia began to practice Yoga in 1997 while she was studying a Graphic Arts Degree in California where she began practicing the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga system. She continued her education breathwork, and meditation from traditional schools in India dedicating time to studying the scriptures and the deep meaning hidden in the tradition of the Vedas.
In 2004 began to study Shiatsu with Yasuragi School, undergoing Naturopath studies that finished in 2010. In 2103 was given a classical Indian dance scholarship with ICCR in India, which allowed her to stay there a few more years and continued her studies in Naturopathy.
Out of synchronicity with the universe, she stepped into a WATA course in the year 2016 and pursued studies with Arjana C. Brunschwiler, the co-creator of this mesmerizing aquatic body & breathwork tuning oriented interplay. Alicia became a formal WATA Practitioner in 2020.

Meanwhile, the only school that attracted her in Spain to pursuit her aquatic body work studies was Watsupath™. In 2016, surrendered under the guidance of Elisa Muñoz Blanco for WATSU®. The 6th of January 2019 , she was given the the blessings to become a formal shiatsu in the water practitioner.

In this way, she is an avid student, always curious to learn and sometimes unlearn content that may obstruct direct perception. Her dedication into exploring the limitations of freeing naturally the body and breath through somatic movement guides her approach trough contact. With diligence and guidance form experts her patience takes her to the extraordinary abundant flow of awarded creativity. A thread of serene curiosity sews the quilt of her career.
